This is Hard to Do!

Okay, so once again I am failing at my blogging abilites. This is really hard to do on a regular basis! Not too much new to report out here. I was lucky enough to go home to Dallas a couple of weeks ago and spend some time with my parents and have some quick visits with friends. It was so great to see everyone's adorable babies (or in Heather's case pregnant belly)! It is still hard to believe we are all so grown-up. God, time really flies. Who knew the brink of 30 would come so quickly! 30...Really?! It seems like just yesterday I was sitting on the steps of Steen Hall, drinking a Crystal Light and vodka comtemplating which zebra print skirt to wear out. Eww...Yes, that was our drink of choice Crystal Light and vodka. I don't think I could even stomach a sip of that concoction anymore. But, I'm not gonna lie...it was damn good back then.

In other news, I start a Creative Writing class at UCLA next month. They have a really great Writer's Extension program, so I thought that would be something fun to do. I have been working on a book for the past two years, so maybe this will help me actually finish or get somewhere with it.

Next month Bryan and I, and another couple are running a 5K Warrior Dash. It is basically one big muddy obstacle course mess. The best part is...at the end of the race you get a turkey leg, viking helmet and beer! Bryan is super stoked about the viking helmet...pictures to follow.

Sadly, there will be no further updates on our new neighbors...Momma bird abandoned her eggs and they were snatched up by some other creature. We were actually really disappointed; we wanted to see the baby birds!
